Ink Jet & Toner Cartridge Recycling

On Earth Day 2000, Emory Recycles launched a new ink jet, cell phone or pager recycling program that is both convienent and effective. Simply put your used ink jet cartridge, cell phone, or pager in a pre-addressed, postage paid envelope and drop in US mail... that's it!!

Your item will be sent directly to the remanufacturer to be recycled and put back to work. Not only does this decrease the amount of solid waste that is put into our landfills, but it also reduces the amount of limited natural resources required to produce new cartridges.

Envelopes are available individually at the Emory Computer Store, in the DUC post office, in many departmental break rooms, and through our recycling office.

Every effort counts! If your office does not yet have one of these displays or your display needs a refill, please contact the Recycling Office at 404-727-2052 or Claire Wall at 404-712-8921 or email claire.wall@emory.edu

Emory Recycles also collects used laser toner cartridges for remanufacturing. To arrange a pick-up, contact the recycling office.
