Slim Jims are the most popular container for recycling. A slim jim holds approximately 23-gallons and the dimensions are 20"W x 11"D x 30"H. We recommend locating slim jims in breakrooms, copy rooms and other centrally located areas. The slim jims are used as central drop off points for individuals to empty their deskside containers. They work best grouped together (mixed and white paper together, aluminum and plastics together) and beside a trash container to reduce contamination. The Multi-unit recycling center can be bought through Emory Recycles for your department. The container is made from recycled milk jugs and can come with 4 or 5 seperate units. We recommend a five unit center for mixed paper, white paper, aluminum, plastics and waste. The units are front loading (open in the front) and each section holds a 22-gallon container for ease of servicing. The dimensions of a 4 unit center is 56" x 22" x 40" and it comes in a variety of colors - green, brown, black. Call for pricing.

95-gallon carts are located on the loading docks of virtually every office building with recycling. The slim jims are emptied into these containers by Building Service Custodians and the 95-gallon carts are emptied and replaced by Emory Recycles. Each location is put on a weekly route and the weight of material collected is tracked by location. 95-gallon carts are offered for large purge jobs or for office moves.
